Counselling for Women : Empathic Counselling

Women are known for putting others first and sometimes this can be detrimental to our physical and mental health. According to Beyond Blue, approximately 1 in 6 Australian women will experience depression and 1 in 3 women will experience anxiety during their lifetime. Women also experience trauma at higher rates than men. As women we go through major life transitions and we may also face associated challenges such as infertility, perinatal loss, body image pressure, discrimination and violence.
